Absolute Sealed Bid Auction for 13 Wind Turbines - Thirteen HZ wind turbines, distributed across Dallas (3), Story (2), Cerro Gordo (5), and Delaware (3) counties in Iowa are available for purchase through an Absolute Sealed Bid Auction. All sealed bids are due before 5:00 PM (CDT) on Thursday, September 19th, 2024. The winning bidder will be purchasing the turbines, interest in the land easement, and will get assigned Power Purchase Agreement combined with all future income generated by the 13 HZ wind turbines. In addition, there are nearly $479,000 of tax credits available for the 7 tax eligible wind turbines and when some of the turbines come back online or repaired, there may be additional incentives available. The portfolio of wind turbines each have a rated capacity of 2 MW and a hub height of 80 meters with rotor diameters ranging from 93 to 111 meters, and total tower heights of 126.50 to 135.60 meters. Two of the 13 wind turbines came online in 2012, whereas the remaining 11 turbines came online in 2017.
